My
Experience
A bit of background
Creative Manager
I've led both in-house and agency studios, keeping internal teams and external designers synchronized through clear briefs, consistent check-ins, and thoughtful project coordination. That leadership experience directly informs how I work as a freelancer today. I know how to slot into your existing team seamlessly, whether that means collaborating with your internal designers, coordinating with other contractors, or working directly with stakeholders. I understand the importance of proactive communication, keeping you updated without needing to be chased, flagging potential issues early, and respecting timelines like they're my own. Managing studios taught me to see projects from every angle: the client's vision, the team's capabilities, and the practical realities of budgets and deadlines. Now, as a freelancer, I bring that same level of professionalism and project intelligence to every engagement, making me easy to work with and reliable when it counts.
Multidisciplinary Designer
I don't believe in creative silos: I've spent years breaking down the walls between disciplines so I can meet challenges wherever they live. Whether it's building experiences you can walk through, crafting interfaces from the ground up with code, or bringing static ideas to life through movement and emerging technology, I move fluidly between mediums. My strength lies in seeing the bigger picture while mastering the details: understanding how what people hold in their hands connects to what they see on screens, and how physical spaces can extend digital narratives. This breadth means I can solve problems others might outsource, pivot when projects demand it, and ensure visual consistency across every touchpoint. Ultimately, being multidisciplinary isn't about doing everything, it's about knowing how everything works together.
Adaptability Expert
My experience spans the full range: government and corporate, team rooms and agency floors, legacy brands and ambitious newcomers. Each environment has expanded my skillset and deepened my understanding of what great design requires. This breadth means I can adapt to your world quickly, whether you need someone who understands compliance and stakeholder management or someone who thrives in fast-paced, scrappy environments. I've learned to speak the language of different sectors: how government projects demand accessibility and clarity, how corporates value consistency and governance, how startups need agility and resourcefulness. As a freelancer, this versatility is my advantage: I don't need extensive onboarding to understand your constraints, your culture, or your goals. I've likely worked in a context similar to yours, which means I can hit the ground running and deliver work that feels native to your organisation, not like it came from someone on the outside.
